🐺 E36 Convertible Roof Not Working

It is located on the driver side right at the pivot. Hi guys ,I’m having an issue with my 97 e36 328i convertible .The roof is fully automatic and was working perfectly ,after the guys at the car wash pulled the lever underneath the backseat of the vehicle ,everything got disengaged and found it difficult to put back together . Note:the roof is not able to open manually ,the bmw hood not working hiya my m3 electrical hood isnt working either, its a 1994 m reg. the hood was down, when i pressed the button to lift the hood it stopped half way, i then released the hood manually withn the red lever under the back seat. since then i gave it to a garage who told me the cables have snapped from the roof to the motor. they replaced all the cables and reset the roof, but I tried to adjust the convertibles roof and now the parcel shelf and roof are not working in sync. The roof is now in a permanent half open state. The parcel shelf is almost closed preventing me from opening the boot. Its a 2000 328i convertible. BMW 3 Series 1993-1998 E36. I've had a variety of faults too, from the storage bin lid not opening [which stops the roof halfway], to nothing happening at all. Seems BMW really out to be more on top of fault finding with it than they are. My 1999 BMW 328i 4 door locks are not working properly. First, the key will not manually lock/unlock the doors. Second, the remote key will lock/unlock the doors, but within seconds, the car relockes itself. Third, sometimes the driver side window does not automatically go all the way back up on its own after closing the door. So, put the key in the ignition & place it in position 1 (ACC). Hold down the affected window switch for an additional five seconds after the window goes all the way down to perform a memory reset. Let this window back up, let go, pull the keys back out of the ignition, & open the door. 0. 1. If that's correct, that likely indicates The convertible is in excellent condition, no rust or dents. The yard person told me that the convertible has a bad motor. I bought all the door seals, injectors, passenger mirror, rear deck, and the tonneau top motor for $65 bucks. All, My wife's E36 1998 328iC convertible top does not function. I took the car to the dealer for an inspection and they estimated $2500 for new motors for the top. While top down is fun, I wish to make the repairs myself with used parts to save some $$$. .
